dear june,

I still love you. even though it has rained for eighteen days straight here. even though I am still mostly wearing tights and boots. even though it doesn't feel like summer. AT ALL. I still believe in you, june. I do.

  1. I wish it would rain here but not for 18 days. I keep hearing we are going to get a great thunderstorm and it never happens. Hope the sun comes out for you soon. send some rain my way!

  6. I was going to say - you must be in Oregon! I'm in Bend and it's just getting ridiculous. At least it's getting warmer now - still raining; but the random snow flurries seem to have stopped as of May 23rd.

    I hope.

    I believe in summer too.

  11. June has poked its head out a few times up here in Maine, but never for long. Stupid rain and scary clouds, strong-arming their way into poor little June's territory.

  15. Us Brits are experiencing a typically unpredictable mixture of hot summer sun and heavy showers...which means we are all suffering extreme weather related mood-swings!

I'll cross my fingers for you x

  18. "I still believe in you, june." This made me smile. Have you read Light Boxes? This post reminded me of it.

Where I'm from we have a thing called June gloom. I never expect to see the sun in June and surprisingly, she's shown herself quite a bit.

    Wishing you some sunshine.
