head on over to leSophie for photobooth friday... the lovely fantastic magnificent LES has graciously agreed to host the photobooth party for me today. on account I will be moving boxes from the old house to the new house UNTIL THE END OF ALL TIME. that's right. from now until 2037, I will be moving boxes. if ever we meet, I will most likely be sweating profusely and carrying a box of crap.

thank you, miss leSophie. you rock it all the way to the casbah and back again.

  1. All I can say is, I hope that will be a box of metaphorical crap you'll be carrying around until 2037, or else pee-yew!

Girl, I so do not envy you the moving and the painting and the chaos. (Although come to think of it, I've still got the painting and the chaos in spades, with no move in sight.)

Oh well, here's to new beginnings! Sending many tons of strength and resilience vibes southeastwardly.

  4. Ugh. You have my sympathy. I hate, hate, hate moving house. The physical labor part. Blech.

  7. I miss you having the extra time, energy, and enthusiasm to write all these peices that make my heart smile and make me want to run all the way cross country so we can hang out. Even the little tidbits and updates from your corner of the world that you've been lending to us lately are still enriching my life. I just really appreciate you.

And I want you to know that this season in your life will pass - the moving, it will be complete someday; the packing, it will be unpacked and put away some day; and the stress, it will be unraveled some day. it may not be tomorrow or the next day, but it will come. and you will be renewed with a sense of peace and comfort and home. and until then, im sending you the biggest hug i can possibly muster without squishing your guts out, two kisses for the little ones (and some ice cream too), and a friendly hug for ward (boys with claim numbers only get friendly hugs :D). I would let you borrow my truck if i had one and if i lived there, but neither apply, so i'm also sending my moving angels. But, when you're finished could you send them back to me - i'll be moving in about a month.

lots of love and happy thoughts to your family right now and always. it will all be okay, andrea. i promise.

p.s. if we ever meet, and you're still carrying a box of crap and sweating profusely, I will carry the box of crap for you (stink and all) and i'll still give you a hug, i won't mind the sweat. then afterwards, we'll go splash in the nearest fountain.
