number 29 off the list and why don't I rearrange the furniture more often? a push of the side tables here, a slide of the bed there and voila. brand new bedroom. if the room could could talk, I think it would thank me.
As a kid my mom used to rearrange the furniture often. She suffered from insomnia and so some mornings we'd wake up and the livingroom would look like a different place! It was fun and magical...
I watched Beetlejuice again recently, and remembered how I loved Catherine O'Hara's deliciously bitchy performance as interior design-obsessed Delia Deetz. She always made gutting and redecorating seem so... unhealthy, but you make it seem very sweet and happy. :)
