(two weeks until 38 arrives and another item crossed off the list)

  2. sounds like a good one to cross off the list. my mom and I used to take the train to NJ every summer to see the grandparents and family since she doesn't fly. Trains are such a fun way to go, you see things you wouldn't otherwise if you drove or flew.

  3. Probably my favourite thing about studying abroad in Italy. Need to get away for the weekend? Hop a train, go just about anywhere you want. ...Assuming the transit industry hadn't gone on strike...

  4. If you've never heard of mixwit, it might be a good place for number 7. Enjoy! http://www.mixwit.com/

  5. Looks like fun! Train travel is great -- especially on the west coast, where it is more of a novelty than a practicality. :)

  6. I have yet to try the cascade train up to seattle! It sounds like a relaxing trip and I'll have to try it one time!

  7. I like sitting backwards in trains... traveling fast backwards makes me feel a little other worldly.

    Love the photos too...

  8. I do love trains, how long was that trip? We took a trip upstate and it was supposed to be a six hour ride that turned into a 7 1/2 hour ride.

  9. I'm blown away by the photo of the children on the train, the one with the little boy's reflection in the window and the train streaming past. Incredible. You should submit it somewhere.

  10. how fun! Trains are such a nice way to travel. my husband and I were wanting to go and use our nifty half of coupons from our chinook book but we didn't make it before they expired.
