mover, shaker, polaroid picture taker, lover of the most modern of dances. I shoot a lot of film, I like to move around. I am: one part freelance photographer, one part writer, one part teacher, one part dancer, one hundred million parts mama. kidding about that last part. well, not really. my name is andrea and this is a place where I share my work, share the photographs I take and a few things I want to remember. I live just outside atlanta, georgia with a spectacularly bearded husband and two kids in a house filled with too many collections and probably too many legos.

I teach modern dance for moving in the spirit, a nationally-recognized youth development program that uses the art of dance to positively transform the lives of kids living in the city of atlanta, georgia. and I believe in it, I believe so whole-heartedly in it. I also teach instant photography workshops all over the country to kids and adults alike, because I believe in that magic too. read more here. there are always workshops in the works, folks. always.

find my more of my work: on the pages of UPPERCASE magazine, where I'm a core contributor and over here, until the finishing of my ever elusive site is complete.
