sunday, may 5th: scenes from the alameda flea with miss mati (due to a last minute turn of events, whence I found myself in oakland for work for about five minutes).
how bout last minute trips to the fleamarket (which, to me, feels a little like a jackpot lottery win). how bout I am almost caught up with this here sundays thing. how bout it's monday and I'm just happy to be alive.
One of my absolute favorite things to do...
ReplyDeleteme too! oh, me too.

ReplyDeletethank you, sabine! didn't have much money (or room in my suitcase) for things so the photographs of the day were what I brought home with me. :)

thanks, cortnie! funny story about that couple-- I actually saw them last time I was at the alameda flea-- all the way back in august! they were in matching outfits then, too. so funny. and well, sweet.
DeleteI won't lie. When I got to the photo of all that beautiful produce, I held my laptop up close and inhaled, just to imagine the smells. And now I can't wait to get home to the $13 bag of cherries in my fridge. (Yes, I paid that much for very not-local cherries because I'm tired of seeing them pop up in my IG feed and we're still a month from cherry season around here.)
ReplyDeletegirrrrrrrl you hold that laptop as close as you need to. go ahead, lick the screen. it was a dreamy scenario and I can't believe I didn't walk away with a suitcase full of fresh fruit. xo
Deletep.s. cherries are always worth it. always.
swoony.
ReplyDeletesoooo good. have you been able to hit the alameda when you've visited? or the treasure island flea? worth a special trip, that's for sure. xo
DeleteSo good, per usual. XO
ReplyDeletethanks so much, lady! xo
DeleteThese are all awesome - but my favourite is the couple in the fifth shot - just brilliant! :)
ReplyDeletenaomi! thank you! mentioned this in a comment above, funny story about that couple-- they were there last time I was at the alameda flea, all the way back in august! again, in matching outfits! cutest couple ever.
