list three: things I carry around in my bag
1. wallet. because occasionally, I need to pay for things.
2. black ink pens. because I do not joke around when it comes to black ink pens.
3. burt's bees lip shimmer in nutmeg. because it's the most perfect shade. ever. but also, I'm addicted to lip stuff.
4. car keys. because keys are important.
5. minty chewing gum. because I am a fan of all things refreshing.
6. cameras. because I like to take pictures, lots and lots of pictures. and I need a wide variety of cameras at my disposal to accomplish this.
7. handful of crayons. because as long as there are crayons (and scraps of paper) in my bag, there will always be something for the kids to do. no matter what happens.
8. cel phone. because there are important things to say, all hours of the day.
9. moleskine sketchbook. because you never know when the great ideas will hit. or when the kids will say something brilliant.
(three down, forty-nine to go)

Mine goes a little something like this... 1)keys (work & house all together), 2) pens (mine get pinched at work all the time, 3)umbrella (I live in the UK), 4)Refreshers (yummy sugary sweets!), 5)Change of clothes (for after work), 6)hair clips, 7)Something to read. Without which I might go crazy on the bus! xox

ReplyDeletestupendo (wonderful!!)
I will make sure to carry crayons around when I am a mom, some day far, far in the future. The sketchbook, however, I may implement right away.
ReplyDeletei carry that shimmer too!
ReplyDelete1. have you tried the new sharpie retractable pens?...they are fabulous...i have long searched for the perfect pen and those are my new faves...
ReplyDelete2. have you tried the Yes to Carrots lip butter?...wonderful, wonderful stuff...i'm a bit addicted to lip stuff myself...
3. i have stumbled upon the perfect crayon case...empty altoid tins...they hold about 8-10 crayons perfectly...cut some pretty paper to size...attach it with modge podge (a top coat to seal the paper as well) and viola!...a perfect crayon case...we mamas have to be inventive...
I am loving your lists - I think I'll have to copy this one. And that green-and-yellow pouch is charming.
ReplyDeleteLove the Burt's Bees, although my colour is Fig. I'd love to know what the bag looks like that these items are all nestled in!
ReplyDeletegreat list. i carry similar items (+some +some more). : )
ReplyDeleteI have never seen kids swoop in on a cup full of crayons and get down to business like your kids did at Cup and Saucer. It was like Ava's hand was magnetically attracted to the darn things!
ReplyDeleteso good.
Ok. This confirms what I have known for some time now. You would be a blast to hang out with!
ReplyDeletePlease dont stop posting these! Lists was my 2010 goal and I was so happy when I found out you were doing lists too. Reading your posts gives me ideas and list-spiration (haha! I'm so funny) for my millions of lists!
ReplyDeleteLists are already awesome. Lists with images are awesome x100!!
ReplyDeleteI always love seeing 'whats in my bag' photos, even though they're all usually the same generic things. I think it's the personal touches that people append to the generic items that interest me (ie. make up pouch from etsy, special pens, etc).
i have the orbit & burts bees lippie in my bag too!
ReplyDeletesamies! i like how you roll ;)
i love the green and yellow wallet - so refreshing! and i just love that you carry crayons around :)
ReplyDeletehello hello!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh how I am happy that I found your blog! Lists, lists, lists galore! And beautiful pictures too!I'm definitely going to be looking through your archives.
the mini diana is perfect for carrying in the purse. not to mention cute to shoot with!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more about the black ink pens. When I find the one I like I buy a whole box. The finer the better, I say. Nice lists, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWow the contents of your bag are almost identical to mine right down to the Orbit gum and Molesking notebook but minus the crayons! Maybe when I become a mom they'll work there way in there.
