mmm this is a good one. have you ever tried the breakfast from spain of grated tomato on toasted bread with olive oil? it reminds me of the smooshed avocado and is AMAZING. especially with orange juice and coffee.
ha! those white cheddar cheetos are the BEST! if i'm not careful i could easily eat half the bag in one setting. and the "natural" part.... well i think i'll let that one slide.
I just started eating smashed avocado (mixed with basil or fresh tomatoes or just S&P) on toasted bread as a snack after work or just for dinner, and I love it. It replaced my cheese snack, so I've also lost weight from eating it too!
Also don't get me started on lemon curd. I make the lemon curd recipe in the Tartine cookbook. It's so easy! Just like you, I pretty much eat it one spoonful at a time straight from the jar.
you have to try making Meyer lemon curd! We have a 60 year old Meyer lemon tree in our backyard that produces all year long and making lemon curd is the only way I can keep up with it.
You already know how I feel about avos and this photo :)...it's even better if you butter the sourdough a touch before smashing the avo...and don't forget the dash of seasoning salt on top!
I've never tried smushed avocado on toast before. Must do!
