I love the feeling of "discovering" street art that decorates some of the most unexpected places: the back of a mailbox, a stair step, a door frame, etc. When you keep your eyes open, you can see beauty in places others don't notice.
Me too! Although I haven't seen anything as beautiful as that little birdie. I've been photographing as much of it as I can find since I moved to the city. The ones stenciled on the sidewalks are my favorites.
i love love love street art! you can find the most interesting, beautiful kind in SF. lots of local artists willl sketch, pain, and stencil the streets. such a treat to go out and find such loveliness!
it makes me happy, too, but we don't have any of it around here.....
