hair is cool

obsessed with images of hair these days. more specifically, hair in motion. and while we're on the subject, I'm totally ready to change my own hair. I am not to be trusted around a pair of scissors. and the hair color aisle-- also dangerous. I think maybe I'm about to do something stupid. consider this a thinly veiled cry for help.

  4. oh my, yes. hair is quite incredible. i used to be a sucker for do-it-myself hair but since last year i've been seeing a professional and i'm never gonna quit.

  5. Change is good. Even doing your own change with scissors is good - it grows back. Self-color - not good. It took my hair almost two years to recover from the color butchering I gave it.

  6. Oh, girl, don't I know? I woke up a couple weeks ago and decided I needed my hair all chopped off. That very morning. Thank goodness for Bishops and their no appointment policy. I wish you the best. The jury is still out on mine...

Hmmm - might this have anything to do with the upcoming birthday? Now that I think about it, my chop happened right before mine. Coincidence?

  11. I love #4, what a great photograph. good luck with the hair dilemma. I recently went on a whim for bangs and have been very pleased with my decision. I say go with your gut!

  12. Uh! Growing out my hair has been like a downward spiral, but I'm stubborn and refuse to quit until some form of natural curlage style appears. Goodluck to you!

  13. great collage and oh boy can i relate. a friend of mine just posted a new icon photo of herself with bright pink hair and called it "mid-life crises". haha. which, interestingly enough, i feel like i can relate to, here at the ripe "old" age of nearly 38. maybe i'll sport a wig for a while and. just. try it...

  14. I am friends with Benita! Your 3rd picture. Zack and I hung out with Benita and Darren while we were in Australia. While you were in Atlanta. Which is why we didn't get to meet. ;-)
