luke and sally

luke, of the skywalker variety and sally from the nightmare before christmas. sort of not kidding around with the costumes this year. the making of sally's dress nearly killed me and this is because I don't really sew. totally worth it, though. and luke wore the wig! I can't believe he wore the wig.

I'd like to think we rocked it this year. that in the midst of all the sickness, somehow we pulled it off. I'd like to think they'll always remember this one.

How adorable!! My daughter was "Padme Amidala from episode 3, the padiwan outfit." - direct quote. (you know the ONE costume you can't buy but you hand sew/make because you're a mom and want to make your child happy? )

We came across a darth vader and a white jedi guy but that was it. Wish we would have come across you. :o)

The Sally costume is amazing! I had aspirations of making myself a Sally costume but never got around to it. This makes me want to try making one for next year.

Rocked it?? I think you knocked it out of the park--to a galaxy far far away. If you don't sew, I'd love to see what else you "can't" do!
