hell yes, girl. I have one of these umbrellas stuck to my board at work just over my computer screen. I'm looking at it right now. Anything that adds this much color can't be bad.
wendy, I have a feeling that coffee would still be pretty bad. but the sight of a little pink umbrella in a rotten boot might make you feel better. ha. :)
danette, that's the way to do it. it's the little paper umbrellas and that shot of color-- that's what gets you through the day.
Never met a cup of coffee that I did not like and I know your love for paper umbrellas...you are all girl and always have been...sweetheart...love your way with words!
Yes yes! Umbrellas always make me happy and when they've skewered a chunk of pineapple thrown into a Zombie or some other luscious alcholic beverage, you have a happy woman.
oh my goodness, haha, i love, love, love these! i remember the first time i put one in our girl's smoothie - she squealed in Delight! scrump in every way :)
Good talkin' to you and Ward. This photo is purty. I'd love to blow it up ten times the size, frame it, and hang it above the fabulous minibar I plan to own one day. Serious!
Love them too! A few months ago I saw a page in a decorating book that featured the most awesome thing: someone had taken pretty tree branches out of the garden and stripped the leaves off and attached paper umbrellas to them with wire and put them in a vase like a bouquet! There were also leaves made of cut newspaper with words on them, and it was so sweet. I keep meaning to make one! Wish I had a photo to share so you could visualize it better.
really a rotton boot?
ReplyDeletenot sure how peppy I would feel about the coffee, but this photo is lovely!!
