humble aspirations



found while thrifting in illinois this summer. naturally, I had to have it. why, you ask? because it totally reminded me of this.

Ah an airline hostess....that's back in the day when flying was glamorous and my mom made me dress up anytime we'd go to Florida...guess that's gone for good but will live on in books like this...how fabulous.

I love the plain servant story!

My husband found another book in that series for his sister, the waitress one. When she was five, she really wanted to be a waitress.

My six-year-old boy wants to be a fashion designer, which is quite a change from a couple of years ago, when he told his preschool he wanted to sit on a cloud when he grows up...
