am currently steeped in merriment and am absolutely prepared to celebrate. things that have me convinced I might be living in some sort of storybook: fireplace crackling, cookies baking, sufjan singing, children giggling, snow falling.
I'll be back soon with words and images. I'm long overdue, I know. until then, friends. merry christmas to you.
sounds positively divine there in your hula winter wonderland. am coveting your santa mugs (sorry to covet on christmas, but still...they are awesome!).
it is a merry christmas, indeed. i received your record player print as a gift from my mom and i am in love with it and the precious addressing of the mailing envelope. i can't wait to hang it on the walls of my new turn of the century apartment.
the whole package is a treasure. wonderful job. merry christmas.
Just found your blog, and I instantly loved it. So, very nice to meet you, from a fellow Northwestern-er (near Seattle), and can you believe the white Christmas? Hope you had a wonderful day. I'll check back often!
found you quite by accident - what wonderful photography! very inspiring. I'm coming back often. thanks!( my site is: http://picadaybyrenee.blogspot.com if you have the time.)
LOVE your collection of bottle brush trees! Did you collect these individually over time or was it one fell swoop? Beautiful photos of a well decked hall!
Oh my gosh!!! We had the same blind Santa mugs growing up! Okay, not blind, but eventually the paint washed off the eyes and face... Thanks for the nostalgia! Merry Christmas to you and the fam!
santa mugs are my absolute favorite! I had a set when we were kids and I think of them every year when I pull out my Christmas decorations and they aren't part of it... I need to thrift those sometime before next year! Love your photos...Merry Christmas!
Hey...my husband brought one of those Santa mugs into the equation. It was his from childhood. It use to be painted but all the colour rubbed off. Maybe I should finish the job.
Which of course begs the very question I put to fellow magpie jek when we were looking at photos of your wonderful NOT-AT-ALL-CLUTTERED home: WHERE (oh WHERE and HOW oh HOW) do you store all the loveliness when it's not out looking so magical???
Enjoy the white Christmas!
