and speaking of summer

list number 36

taken last summer in the small illinois town where my parents live and I swear to you, when I look at this, I can practically hear the cicadas. I can feel how thick the air is and I want to get on a plane and go home.

  6. Mmm, I was just back in the Midwest and it was gloriously hot and humid. So nice to visit -- I felt like I was soaking up the mugginess through my skin -- and then it was refreshing to come back to the June Gloom in SoCal. =)
