the sun, it's out. in great abundance, actually and I sort of don't know what to do with myself. I'm not complaining. I'm just saying, it's out. and it keeps coming out, again and again, everyday. what I really want to do is grab a little of it, stuff it in a jar and save it for later.
i feel the same. i went running in it today just to GET OUT THERE. because the obvious answer to the glowing ball of yellow in the sky is go outside! but i stand by the window, just stunned.
i completely agree! i live in portland, too and when the sun peeks out in the afternoon i get a rush of excitement, and then feel guilt. guilty because i'm indoors - i've planned on being indoors - and now i need to change my plans FAST because if i don't enjoy it now, i might never get to again (melodramatic?). it'd be so nice to just pack it away somewhere, for a time when we're mentally prepared.
It changes everything, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteKinda makes you want to sing "here comes the sun", right? ;)
