mire dita, mire dita
mire dita= albanian for good day.
I am back from gjilan, kosovo but I am fighting jet lag. I am mostly winning, though. hence the trickle of images you see here.
friends, it was a spectacular week.
life changing, actually.
I don't really even know where to start.
I imagine it'll come in fits and starts. little bits here and there or maybe all at once. maybe it will all come rushing out like water from a broken faucet, I don't know. there are polaroids, there are stories. there are more photographs and probably a few lists. I guess it'll come when it comes.
to all who left kind and encouraging words, thank you. to all who supported me (in so many different ways), thank you. to all who lifted me up in prayer, thank you. I could not have done it without you.
I think these pictures are a good place to start. :) Can't wait to hear more about it.

ReplyDeleteoy. these are incredible images. Damian just looked over my shoulder saying wow. I can't wait to see/hear the rest. I still haven't disseminated a family trip to Ireland in July or even posted anything other than teaser photos about it, so I recognize that overwhelming need to do it justice.

ReplyDeletehow how HOW did you get the balconies to pop out like that? DO tell? or was it magic?
ReplyDeletehey thanks, everybody!
ReplyDeletezameander, wish I could say it was magic but alas, it is not. :) it's the tilt shift effect, which you can find on the picture show app, or on instagram (or on any number of camera apps). I'm sort of addicted to it. :)
