if I could, I'd invite every last one of you over for tea and baked goods. today is a good day to be inside with hot tea and warm baked goods. because (surprise) it's cold and rainy. but I can't really do that so hop on over to cafe mom for a
little peek inside my home. many thanks to the lovely
sheri for the spotlight. also, she said really nice things about me. she just might be my new BFF.
you have such a fun, creative, and snug home.

ReplyDeleteIt is so wonderful to see who people really are showing through their home.

Gorgeous shot, I love the cigar boxes.
ReplyDeleteAndrea, love your home. Love, love, love.
ReplyDeleteAndrea - What a beautiful article! What a gorgeous house! I feel like I've seen bits and pieces over this past year.
ReplyDeleteI also wanted to say - those of us who "know" you and follow your life - we know your kids are NOT bored :-) EVER! Ava and Ezra are so fortunate to have a wonderful mama who interacts in fun ways with them all the time. More parents should be like you! I've told you before - but you have helped me focus on fun and creativity WITH my children and BE with them so much more...thank you! :-)
I love all of the little details in your home - especially the photobooth wire and the bowl of polaroids, so fun!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your place, it's so funky and gorgeous! The photographs are most lovely. =)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE LOVE LOVE your home. It's so beautifully comfortable and cozy.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have your help decorating my home.
oh, what a wonderful expose on your home! the mix of color and bright whites is pretty perfect. and inspirational.
ReplyDeletethanks for the sneak!
oh my goodness, your house is gorgeous. I love your colour palette. And it inspires me to get a move on and 'curate' my gallery wall. I wish we could all come for tea, it really looks so welcoming.
ReplyDeleteI am so in love with your home!
ReplyDeleteI'm curious - has it always been decorated so well? or did you go through periods of time (when your children were younger, say) where you had to have less stuff out and be less "decorated"?
I am so sad about our house since we moved here when I was pregnant with our first (we closed on the house the day we found out we were pregnant!) and had another baby 18 months after the 1st. They make it hard to do much decorating/restoring PLUS I can't have things out since they are so curious. Did you just teach your kids to not touch, or did you put away?
thanks for sharing your space with us :) I love it.
i'm totally stealing your letters on the wall idea... awesome!
ReplyDeleteLovely! :)
ReplyDeletewow...that tablescape was just the tip of the iceberg of lovely in your home. I totally love the vintage pennants...so charming!
ReplyDeleteYour home is fantastic!! I just linked it back to you on my blog, SimplyGrove. Great job:)
ReplyDeleteyour home is as playful, colorful, and calm as i imagined it would be! thanks for giving us a peek.
ReplyDeletethat was such a great interview & tour...it made me feel like the way i want to decorate just might work...i've been putting it off for so long because it's not how most people i know do their houses but i know that i want our house to be colorful & welcome & all about us!...& i shouldn't have put it off for so long...thank you for the inspiration & the motivation...color it is:)
ReplyDeleteps did i mention i L-O-V-E love your house?
i do.
:)
I loved seeing your beautiful home!
ReplyDeleteLoved this! I've admired your home photos on your flickr stream so it was nice to hear some of the history behind your cozy space. I love it all but especially the globes and the letters. What paint colors did you use throughout the house?
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty home. I especially like the negatives hanging from the fireplace. I saw that one time as a "curtain" - but you sure would need a lot of them!
ReplyDeleteHow cool--congrats! Great home!
