oh, it sounds like such a great trip...

when my mom & i went to europe for the first (& only so far) time, a friend told us that we needed to go with the attitude that it was just our first trip there. that we would be going again. otherwise we would drive ourselves crazy trying to see everything because it was our ONLY CHANCE!!! it was the best advice ever because we just enjoyed our time & even said a few times 'oh,it's okay, we will do that next time we are here' :) (sadly my mom died unexpectedly about a year after we got back, so it's up to me to go back & do some of those things...but i'm up for the challenge :)

Oh, how that post makes me long for the big apple. It was positively lyrical...thank you for sharing and for giving me a taste of the city that I so adore as I type these words from my home in suburbia below the Mason Dixon Line, far from the buzz of those city streets.

I quite agree, the only way to go while in nyc is to let oneself wander and get lost amongst the intoxicating streets. No plans. No worries.
