I had a moment of panic as NONE of the buttons on the remote worked to change the channel and pixalated boobs are still naked boobs...it was a nightmare.

I also saw that documentary (it was very good) and quite deep, I'm sure Ava went unaffected. I had to pay VERY close attention to understand all that was happening. The boys were all watching The Family Guy. Before I realized it ... I found myself holding Ava who was enraptured with the "cartoon" on the tv ... and I started recounting all the things that she had heard already and what was she going to do with that information? I'm sure she heard some words she shouldn't have heard and saw somethings she shouldn't have seen.
Geez.
I felt like crap and then found myself wondering about the impact ... the impact.
Ugh.
Needless to say, I understand your feelings.Lanerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09173938752132900567noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11777429.post-1164646667841721912006-11-27T11:57:00.000-05:002006-11-27T11:57:00.000-05:00Welcome to my parenting world, pull up a chair and...Welcome to my parenting world, pull up a chair and while you're at it get a cocktail!!
You're a great mama Andrea so it's comforting to hear that someone else has a day like this now and again.

smooches!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11777429.post-1164624462194157112006-11-27T05:47:00.000-05:002006-11-27T05:47:00.000-05:00I wouldn't worry too much about Ava watching that ...I wouldn't worry too much about Ava watching that documentary. The chances are, she didn't really get it and so had her own ('safer') interpretation of what she was seeing. When I was young, for example, I thought that the Simplicity towels advert on TV was for bath towels. It never occurred to me that there was another kind of towel.sarah doowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08631371269303716696noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11777429.post-1164581078450265852006-11-26T17:44:00.000-05:002006-11-26T17:44:00.000-05:00oh wait - your HUMAN?? really???andrea... at least...oh wait - your HUMAN?? really???

andrea... at least you can laugh at yourself and your "mistakes"....
xolisa solomonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11824254691379334918noreply@blogger.com
